This policy explains what personal information Merry Glow collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website and to any order you place through it.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number where you provide one, and the details of what you bought. When you browse the site we collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed.
We do not collect or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and by the wallet providers you choose, and your card details go to them directly.
Why we collect it
To take payment, fulfil and deliver your order, send you shipping updates, answer your support messages, prevent fraud, meet our tax and accounting obligations, and understand which parts of the site work and which do not. If you have opted in, we also use your email address to send marketing.
Who we share it with
Our store runs on Shopify, so Shopify processes order and customer data on our behalf. We share addresses with the carriers who deliver your parcel, and email addresses with the provider that sends our transactional and marketing email. We use analytics providers to measure site traffic. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that are necessary for the cart and checkout to function, and optional cookies for analytics and advertising. You can accept or decline the optional ones through the consent banner, and change your mind later through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is kept for two years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it for marketing. If you are in the EU, the UK, or a US state with comparable law, these rights are statutory. Write to contact@vitareve.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Marketing
You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the footer of any message. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional email about an order you have placed.
Children
This store is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page. Material changes will be reflected in the date below.
